Violation of this policy constitutes a breach of the PromoTix Terms of Service and may result in account suspension or termination.
You may not use PromoTix’s services for activities that:
Engage in any activity that violates local, national, or international laws or regulations.
Promote, sell, or facilitate the distribution of goods and services such as:
Illegal substances or controlled drugs.
Weapons, firearms, explosives, or related accessories.
Products or services infringing on intellectual property rights.
Materials or activities promoting hate, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
Adult content, pornography, or sexually explicit materials.
Items or services related to gambling, raffles, or lotteries without proper licensing and adherence to applicable laws.
Counterfeit goods or unauthorized replicas.
Organize or promote events that:
Encourage physical harm, violence, or illegal activity.
Mislead attendees about event details, including safety measures.
Endanger public safety, such as unsafe venue conditions or overcrowding.
Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices.
Exploit personal data of attendees in violation of applicable privacy laws.
Distribute spam, malware, or malicious software through our platform.
Use PromoTix to conduct unauthorized marketing campaigns or collect payments for purposes unrelated to legitimate events.
Certain types of events or add-ons require prior approval from PromoTix to ensure compliance with applicable laws and payment processor guidelines. These include but are not limited to:
Events involving extreme sports or activities with significant safety risks to guests.
Events with live streaming or content distribution involving 10,000+ user interactions.
To seek pre-approval, please contact our support team at support@promotix.com. Failure to obtain necessary approval may result in event cancellation or account restrictions.
If you encounter content or activities on our platform that violate this policy, please report them to us by emailing us a link to the event at support@promotix.com.
PromoTix reserves the right to:
Remove content or event listings that violate this policy.
Suspend or terminate accounts involved in severe or repeated violations.
Cooperate with law enforcement as necessary, including sharing information about prohibited activities.
In cases of minor violations, we may issue warnings or require corrective actions before taking further steps. Severe violations, such as those endangering public safety, may result in immediate account suspension without prior notice.
If you believe that a decision regarding your content or account was made in error, you may appeal by contacting us at support@promotix.com within 30 days of the decision. Appeals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and decisions will be communicated promptly.
PromoTix may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Updates will be communicated through our website. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
